Today we spent our first full day in New York, we got up pretty early and had a great breakfast in the hotel, after breakfast we walked up to Time Square, what a great scene, packed with people this time of year, perfect weather day with a top of 34 degs and sunny all day long.

Did a bit of shopping in the Time Square district, heaps of shops and heaps of bargains, had a bite for lunch and headed back to the room for a rest, also visited Macy's along the way, thats one big store, Barry and I then hit the hotels sports bar for a few afternoon drinks.

We headed out again around 6.30pm for dinner at www.fiveguys.com before walking back up to Time Square to check out the night view, I thought it was busy during the day but tonight it was packed, lots to see and do, back to the room around 9.30pm as we have a 6 hour bus & boat tour of New York tomorrow.
