well we certainly are travellin g..left Renmark after 2 weeks with family had a great time.heading towards Mildura big town not much to see so kept going ended up staying a few days at Lake Hattah-Kulkyne national park.I saw the first snake for the season yuk!!! the lake is very interesting as it has some sort of gum tree growing out of the lake (yes actually growing in the water) very interesting but obscured the view of the lake somewhat. Aboriginal country here lots of interesting names did some 4WD driving on a few tracks but it was soooooooo hot 1st day 37C 2nd day 39C and 3rd day 41C with gusting northerly winds so decided to head off to Swan Hill.
finally at Swan Hill weather soooo much cooler....pretty towns up this way all hugging the banks of the river murray nstaying a few days quite a bit to see...cruising the murray on a paddlesteamer checking out the art gallery looks good going to the Catalina (Flying ships) museum and of course catching up with friends.
