Bryce was pretty gloomy the next day, so we took in the vistas but didn't do much hiking. Instead we headed south so we’d be less likely to see rain (startin' to feel too much like Humboldt County). We found a campsite at the south end of Escalante where there was no rain, but the wind howled all night and it felt like a troop of chimpanzees were climbing all over Rover and shaking it with all their might.
