Friday & Saturday was nothing but driving past nothing but corn!  Miles & Miles of corn!  We finally made it out of Missouri and to South Dakota.  Now don't get me wrong, the corn fields were beautiful but it is nice to have a change of scenary.

After hooking up the rv and a quick dinner, we made our way to Sioux Falls.  The falls were breathtaking!  The kids were able to climb all over the falls and enjoyed dipping their toes in the cool water.  They spent hours running around the falls and climbing to the top of the old prision watch tower.  At dark, the city had a Lewis & Clark presentation followed by a laser light show on the Falls about the history of the city.  It was beautiful and educational.  The temperature was a hot 87 degrees while we were running around (77 in Plant City) but it dropped quickly to a cool 57 by the time the show was over.  Glad we had taken blankets and jackets.

It was a quick stay and now it is time to head toward the Badlands and Mount Rushmore.  And only one more week til Rob joins us on our adventure...we are counting the days!  Please pray for Rob as he is recuperating from a leg injury and he needs to be healthy to do all the hiking we have planned.
