Escale Vacances is a great place to stay in Mauritius. It is a private Resort with Swimming Pool found in Flic en Flac by the Beach. It is located right in the center of Flic en Flac where many restaurants as well as the local supermarket, Spar, are found and Escale Vacances is just 5 minutes away from the Beach.
Many tourists; mainly from Europe come back every year to spend quality time with their families in this nice and quiet Beach Resort. In each Bungalow, there is a Kitchen where one can choose to do his/her own cooking while enjoying their stay at this Beach Resort.
Klondike is a 3 Star Hotel. Also in Flic en Flac, Klondike has Week-End Entertainments such as the Traditional Sega Dance and Songs performed by local artists at the Hotel while the Hotel Guests have dinner. They have a bar by the Pool Area, A Swimming Pool and the Dining Area is in the Open as well as Indoor. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner usually includes a Creole, Indian, Chinese and European Style Buffet.
Rightly likened to ‘a heaven on earth’, Mauritius is also called the pearl of the Indian Ocean. Made up of a group of volcanic islands, it is famous for its coral reefs, the clear waters that surround it and its virgin beaches. Its not only a place for beach bums, if you are into diving and snorkeling then Mauritius is the place to visit especially between December and March when the waters around the island are at the clearest and you will have a great view of the wonders of the sea that surrounds Mauritius.
As for accommodation, there’s something here for everyone. From the ultimate in world class luxury to the very basic, there is quite a range of accommodation in Mauritius. Apart from the state of the art resorts and luxury hotels there are moderately priced Indian or Chinese-run hotels and pensions de famille—boarding houses. One would find many locals who would accommodate tourists for a price and of course at their convenience. Most of the sight seeing spots and scenic locales are within easy reach, in fact one is never further than a couple of hours’ ride away from any of the must-see spots of Mauritius. The natural splendor of Mauritius is the stuff of story books. Be it the magnificence of the Ocean or the spell cast by the Black Gorges National Park, the reconnaissance with endangered species or the death like volcanic crater which is Lake Bassin, its all there at Mauritius.
