So today I had planned to head to the beach, but my plans of laying in the sun were dashed when I woke to find an overcast sky- that never went away. Growing up in Vegas and going to school in Arizona I'm not sure I have ever seen a day like today where the fog and clouds never parted to show any blue sky. It seemed dreary and rainy all day but hardly ever rained, only a tiny sprinkle when I was at CSUN. 
So instead of heading to the beach I decided to longboard around the local college. It was a very pretty campus with way more flowers and plants than at ASU. I also happened across the CSUN Botanical Gardens which I walked through. I saw many different types of plants and flowers that I have never seen before. 
This evening I swam laps and sat in the sauna at 24 Hour Fitness and hopefully tomorrow can be my first beach day of Summer 2010. 
Work starts Wednesday!
