We are home. The flight in from Rome was standard - decent food, lots of movies - and getting back into the country went as smoothly as normal. We are glad to be home, though often felt very at home in Rome and Boiano. I guess that's why when we boarded the plane yesterday, it felt like we had been away for ages.

Thanks for following along with our little adventure, as you know we always appreciate you checking in and posting your comments and stories too. It makes the trip so much more fun for Mario and I to be able to share our experiences with everyone. Until the next departure -

Thanks for the guided tour of Italy. It was a lot of fun and I think I have gained at least 10 lbs on this journey. Maybe one day on one of our trips to Paris we may take a side trip to Rome and venture into the crowds of the Vatican City.
Maybe letting off a stink bomb in the Sistine chapel would get us a more up close and personnel viewing . Of course we would be equipped with masks. Good plan , bad plan.
Look forward to your next adventure

Hey,
I'm still following the tour. I'm lost in Italy. Oh well it's 32 c. and I'm eating pizza.
The tips are good. I am buying red pants. I got red pants!!
I am a bit more awake this morning because I drank my coffee a little bit stronger than usual because somebody who will remain anomymous let the bean counter on my coffee machine at 2 beans and at expresso.

Nice trip and I think you would make a great Rick Steves. I may go and visit the Pope one day and yes like Asterisk the Romans will never be the same after my passage.

Arrivederci (impressive hey ! when you look up a dictionary)
