Well, the week has come to an end! There has been laughter, excitement, good food, great conversation, amzing weather (you should see my tan!)and even a scandal! I honestly canīt remember when I have laughed so much (or drank so much, but that is another story). The people have been amazing, and this has definitely been one of the highlights of my trip.

The other night after the bar closed at 1am a bunch of people ended up coming back to ours to continue the fun. The party leader for the week was definitely Raul, a great guy that kept us entertained all week, who apparently never slept and liked hosting parties at our house. Luckily my housemates (Shasheen, Christine and Buci) were a great group of girls who liked to have fun too! The lack of sleep did take a toll by the end of the week though, and I am far from the only one who is completely exhausted. The conversation at lunch was pretty quiet as people fought just to stay awake.

This morning was sent saying goodbyes, some of which were quite emotional with some people in tears. I think lots of people met some great friends, and had a very inspiring week. It was amazing to see the change in the Spaniards over the course of the week, as many of them started off not very confident in their English skills. But by the end of the week everyone was chatting and cracking jokes, telling stories, and having a great time together! We had a graduation ceremony at the end, and as people got up to accept their certificates some of the speeches were very moving. I think it has been a week that most of us will not forget any time soon!! (Thanks to Luis and Antonio who kept me laughing all week). Especially if someone asks sometime soon if you want to walk or sit, or I meet a girl named Kiki....
