On Sunday morning I took a walking tour of Bath that went through the history of how the city had evolved, perhaps a bit too in-depth for my taste! We walked up to the Royal Crescent, past the Circus, and back down through the old town. After I went in to the Roman Baths (you can't go in the water, just down to the excavation). Then to the Costume Museum , which was really interesting. They had examples of casual and formal wear from about the 1600's through to modern wear. It was neat to see how fashion has evolved, and be glad us girls no longer have to wear corsets and crinolines!

All too soon it was time to be heading for home, which was a lovely winding drive back to Southampton. Along the way I got to watch the sun set over the hills, a lovely end to a great weekend!
