I woke up early in the morning because I had turned off the air conditioning. It was hot and humid early in the morning. It never did cool off last night. I went to Denny's for Sunday morning breakfast. I ordered the Grand Slam of fresh fruit, turkey bacon, whole wheat pancakes, and two eggs scrambled with cheese. The waitstaff were quick and friendly. I asked them where the Civil Rights Museum was located. They directed me and I set out on my hot walking tour of Memphis. It is going to be a long hot summer. Memphis. Miami, Charleston and Knoxville are experiencing extreme 98 degree. So bring your umbrellas, sunhats, sunshades, and sunscreen. Your are going to need it. Get out early before noon. The high of the day is 4 or 5 pm in the south. Take lots of showers and drink lots of water.

Anyway here are photos from my Memphis walk. My Memphis tour included visits to The Peabody, Beale Street, FedEx Forum home of Memphis Girzzlies, Rock 'n Soul Museum, W.C. Handy Museum- Father of the Blues, Elvis statue, Gibson Factory, WLOK Radio Station, Rufus Thomas Jr. statue, National Civil Rights Museum, Lorraine Hotel, Founder Park, Cvil Rights Garden, Orpheum, Peabody Place, Pepsi Forum, B.B. King's  Blues Company and Club.
