After we landed at the airport, we walked by the information desk. I picked up Visitor's Guides, walking maps, and other brochures. One brochure is "African-American Heritage in Arkansas".
www.ark.ives.com. I chose to visit Little Rock Central High School after reading this brochure. It is important to the Civil Rights movement and African American History.

I asked the front desk if I could walk to the high school. He directed me to the River Cities Travel Center. He told me that he had played games there, but never really visited the school. He said that on all the field trips they took him on, they never took them to the school. "Central High, although an important historical landmark, is still an operating high school attended by over 2,000 students."

Little Rock has a nice bus transportation system with clean buses. There was a police officer who rode the bus with us. So it is very safe. I rode the #3  Medical Center bus to the high school and back. These are some of the people and sights along the way.
