I liked this covered bridge at Sawmill Creek not far from the Hopewell Rocks. We drove around the Bay of Fundy National Park. Didn’t see the famous reversing tides in
Saint John. We couldn’t find anything there. It was very frustrating so we carried on and stopped at St. Andrews which is still on the Bay of Fundy and the Atlantic Ocean. In nearby St. Stephens we visited a Chocolate Factory and ate lots of chocolates. The town is famous for the Ganong brand of candies and chocolates. We also visited a very nice garden in town. It has gotten very hot and fairly moggy out so we have stopped at
Fredericton. There is a pool right at our doorstep and although it is busy it is very welcome. We leave here and will head into Maine in the US.

thank-you for the birthday wishes....but i worked on my birthday..we are now working wednesday nights instead of friday nights now...so robert will take me out for dinner on friday night..take care
Brings back great memories when Mom,Thelma and I traveled over the same area, celebrated Mom's 76th birthday sitting on the rocks at the Bay of Funday, eating lobster.
Sounds like you're still "rocking and rolling" ... even a bit of frustration isn't holding you back from having a wonderful time ... are you anywhere near where the Hurrican is heading ? The Bay of Fundy was mentioned on the news this morning ...... hang on to your hats!!
I'm leaving for Scotland on Tuesday but I should be able to "keep up with your travels" via my sister's computer ....
