I got up at 7.30am today to get ready for the rst feeding... it was great, but there were far too many people there.. also, I didnt get chosen to feed a dolphin!

I spoke to one of the volunteers about how she applied to work here, she took me to the office and gave me an application form.... I rushed back to the van and told Stu about volunteering here... you have to do a min of 4 days, but no more than two weeks.

Stu knew from the big hugh smile on my face that I would love to apply, so he marched me back to the offce and we handed in 'our' appliation form... thats right, I won Stu over, he wanted to volunteer too!

The girl we spoke said she would get back to us as she would hand the form to her supervisor (so watch this space... we could be dolphin feeding helper people)

We then stayed on the beach and fried in the sun for about 45 mins, when the last dolphin feed was about to take place, we went over and watched like last time.

The girl who took our application form stood right in front of us with a dolphin called Nicky (she is the oldest dolphin here - 30 years old)... the volunteer picked 4 people then got to the last fish. The feeding of the last fish is given to all of the dolphins at the same time as Nicky would try and take a fish from another voluteers bucket.

I was so pleased when I was picked to give Nicky her last fish, it was a magical moment... Seeing a dolphin up close and feeding her was amazing... Stu filmed it, the video is cool - just ignore my big butt!

After the feedng we left the beach and headed for shade as Stu has a very red front and my arms were turning red too - ouch!
