Today we left Inverness to begin our journey home.  Rather than being driven back to Edinburgh, we took the train.  It was a nice relaxing trip and it took about four hours.  We saw some lovely countryside and just tried to relax a bit.  We got off the train and walked about a quarter mile to our hotel.  Unfortunately we had to wait an hour before we could check in so we sat in the dining room and talked about our experiences and favorite memories from the trip.  After we checked in, Samantha Miller and Steven Chorley stopped by to make sure everything was ok.  We talked about what was the best way to get to the airport in the morning and then thanked them for making our trip such a wonderful experience.  After they left, everyone then headed for a walk as many of us had last minute shopping to do.  We stopped for a late lunch, and as it took so long to get our food, the manager gave us our meals for free.  It was a nice way to end our trip.  Rachel and Tami headed out separately and Paul, Heather and I stopped in a couple of stores.  Paul headed back to the hotel as Heather and I still hadn't found everything we wanted to purchase.  As we walked it was starting to get dark, but it gave us the opportunity to see the castle lighted at night.  We then headed back to the hotel to call it a night and to purge every bit of extra weight that we could; as we were all concerned about our suitcases being under the weight limit.
