The countdown has begun - three weeks until we try and back the motorhome out of the backyard - hopefully with minimal paint scratches! There were only millimeters to spare when trying to park it between the fence gates in April.
Jules has been working on the bus since. Being a 1997 30' Allegro and very well maintained - there isn't much to be done except for a few modifications for extra storage and basic camper prep. He started with the most important details first - a new stereo and speakers! Followed by a back-up camera connected to the TV systems pointed at the 5-bike mount on the back end. Two months later and he still hasn't even checked to see if the toilet flushes!
I have been working on a few things - mostly 3 sets of curtains. We have currently double fabric blinds on the windows, but they certainly would not be helpful at 4:30 in the morning when we are on the bare pavement of a Walmart parking lot. I haven't stressed much about the trip, since the plan is not to have a real itinerary per se, we are traveling in Canada where we can find pretty well everything we need, and we will be carrying our home with us wherever we go. But with six of us in the motorhome at any given time - I have been looking into noise-canceling earphones when it all gets too loud and just too much.

Very cool, this is exactly what I wanted to see. I will be watching your progress and looking forward to reading about all the adventures you have along the way.
Hi To All On The Bus!
That is quite the home away from home that you have there! Wow! Blake will be VERY jealous... when we are travelling in the van... at night... we have to unload everything OUT of the back of the van... tarp it... bungee cord it... usually in mud since it usually pours rain... then sleep in the back of the van... on lumps! What LUXURY you have! :) Have a GREAT trip!
You have been traveling now for 3 weeks as a group. I do believe that it is time for a head count especially since we have heard from Mercedes, Camden, Celina and Michelle. However, we have yet to hear from Jules and Chanel. Photoshop can do a many great things and I'm really wondering????.
Was baby driving everybody around the bend and the other one is did you dump Papa just because of the lack of bathroom breaks???
Please let us know...
