Chicago is pretty amazing i'll admit. Although the public transit system really grinds my gears, but thats ok, i like to walk. The city, she eases my troubled mind, until i unease it.

The contemporary art museum is odd. Grant park is the most incredible place for free symphony concerts and black and white movies ever. Navy pier is a tourist attraction, but i guess that's ok because it's cool, and i'm a tourist anyway.

I met some very nice people in Grant Park earlier tonight at the showing of the movie with live symphony soundtrack. There was one lady who was a concert violinist in her day, she was great to talk to. But it was a fantastic show in a fantastic venue, and possibly one of the most amazing band shells i've seen to date.

Tomorrow hopefully i'll get to go to some more museums and whatnot, then sunday i leave for Minneapolis for thier July jazz fest. Hopefully that'll be fun. Hope you all enjoy the pictures i have of the city so far. Maybe more to come from tomorrow's expeditions

Chicago
Sounds like fun. You probably should have went up in the Sears tower too. In Minnisota you kinda have to go see the mall of America. While you are near the MofA check out the new indoor water park just down the road it looks cool. I recommend visitng the 100 yr old cathedral of St Paul it's huge and also if u get time the 140 yr old church of St Mary in St Paul if u go to mass there they ussually have food after the sunday mass. I have some coworkers that go there. Also if u have an extra 20 or 30 bucks go to the 'Nyes Polanize' Polish restuarant in Minneapoolis and get the sampler platter.
