Sue, Bree, Alisa, Rae & Chris left Newcastle 3pm for the drive to Sydney Airport where we met up with Ebony who had flown down from Brisbane, everyone was excited that the day had finally arrived after being planned for sooooo long.

We had a very bumpy ride all the way over - kept thinking of poor Alisa who was on a plane for the very first time and all that turbulence - didn't need to worry though - she thought it was normal!!!

After catching our connecting flight to Maui - we got a shuttle to Lahaina - our guide in the shuttle - Cal - was excellent in his commentary - and made the drive seem a lot shorter than the hour it took.

Dinner at Moose McGillicuddys - and then back to our very spacious unit for a relaxing time.

Todays highlight - arriving at our destination finally

Sue

Two cocktails and no sleep makes Bree something sooommmmeeettthhhhhiiiiinnnngggggggggggg.......... zzzzzzz..................

Bree

I thought we had a good flight, I slept most of the time. Until I was told by an experienced flyer that it was the most turbulent flight she had been on, I just thought it was normal.

Currently having a mai tai!  Still get dizzy little pathches, feels like I am on a boat, must have been from all the turbulance? Having fun, starting to miss my little girl tho!

Alisa

Long day of traveling and very wierd to have Wednesday twice!
Great unit and so close to the shops, looking forward to sleeping in my king size bed tonight.
Missing my boys but nice to see them on skype, the wonders of modern technology!
Highlight of the day, finding my chocolate coloured pearl in an oyster and having it set into a pendent.

Ebony & Rae ZZZZzzzzzzzzz missing in action
