THE REALITY
We wake at 9am - fortunately all the time zone changes mean that George is sleeping a bit later. David and George head downstairs to breakfast (Michelle is a bit poorly) where we have a rather unappetising croissant and cinnamon pastry. Even George doesn't fancy them.
David and George head out of the hotel for a walk and on leaving the hotel they have walked into a sauna. David tries to take a few photos but as soon as he takes the cover off , the lense stems up. It rains and rains. George is fawned over as he rests his feet on the bar of his pushchair - certainly doing the big easy in style. We walk round the French quarter, down the sleezy bourbon street and up Royal Street before heading to see the Mississippi . David keeps getting told off by people for leaving the plastic cover on Geor
