So, we're now a little over 12 hours from jumping on a train out of Paris.

It's still a touch strange to think that Christmas is two days away. Every time we've run into a crowd in front of a big store or in a market, we've had to remind ourselves that this the last shopping day before Christmas. If this was Melbourne, we'd be heading off to the dress rehearsals for Carols by Candlelight and a bunch of you would be heading off to 24 hour shopping at Chaddy and there'd be parking lines suburbs long.

For those of you who've been asking about the itinerary: tomorrow we head for Belgium (chocolate, waffles, chips, Christmas) until the 28th, then a couple of days in Salzburg, New Years and then some in Venice, two nights on Lake Como and a few days in Zurich before heading back to Paris for a few seconds to jump on the plane and that interminable flight from Paris to Singapore. Mum is under the impression we arrive on the morning of the 12th, whereas I had always thought it was the 13th, so I suppose I'll let you know when we work out who's won that little argument.

On the photo front, I don't have any Eiffel Towers for you, although we have certainly taken some. But, there are a few fun things we didn't expect to encounter in Paris.

Merry Christmas to you all,

Sass.
