Ok my hearties what can I tell you...
Yesterday (Monday 10th) we motor sailed from Carlingford lough to Howeth, sea moderate, but wind in the wrong direction more southerly than westerly. Entry was a bit fraught getting into Howth, half the lights were out on the entry markers, and I found it quite confusing, but we found an empty pontoon, and as luck would have it the wind died just as I was attempting to berth. So for anyone watching it looked a pretty professional....just as well you can't mind read! The marina was massive and packed.
