I've just returned to my Cochin lodgings - having had a nice meal (and a couple of drinks) and noticed I had an email from Richard - from his south west retirement home. He made me aware of the just giving total section on my page. I've just managed to log on and am staggered and indeed overwhelmed by the generosity of those that have donated in helping asha in their continuing educational programme.

I really don't know what to say other than a massive heart felt THANK YOU!

I really am speechless and no doubt having read my blog you may well find this hard to believe.

As mentioned at the start of my first ever blog - this technology bit is all a bit new to me and Alex (back in the uk) kindly arranged the just giving side of things - I really had no idea so many people had donated to asha.

I can't begin to describe how truly humbled I am by your generosity.

I also now have a renewed and increased enthusiasm to keep riding and this'll also help reduce my daily aches and pains.

My wafflings and inappropriate humour (?) will continue - I guess - until my arrival back in New Delhi. I hoped that my lighthearted ramblings would be of interest to others but clearly there's a serious side behind it.

Thank you once again - I really am pleasantly shocked and will reiterate that 100% of your funds will support children like Usha.

Thank you so very very much

Simon
