Not a big waffling update today but hopefully a few pictures that'll help set the scene.
I left my hotel at 5.30 am and rode the short distance to the point that apparently has the best view. I clearly wasn't the only one who had been told this.

The ride in was stunning. No helmet or luggage and with my high protection sandals on my feet. The early morning sea breeze was fresh and for the first time since ladakh I felt a slight coolness in the air. It felt really strange to be riding the bike devoid of luggage - but in a good way.

I parked up and wandered to the point I'd seen the evening before and waited for the sun to appear. Wow! As the old saying goes...........A picture paints a thousand words so I'll leave it there and I hope you like my efforts.

It was then back to the hotel for a quick nap before breakfast.

I've had a relaxing day, eaten some cake, drunk tea and even went for a little ride.

I am now back at the hotel having recently returned from a spectacular sundowner. Apparently, in April , you can see the sun set as the moon rises - how cool would that be!

I'll unfortunately have to remain in the bar whilst the photos upload - bugger - and as I'm planning on leaving tomorrow and heading for Varkala - I'd better not be too late. I've a date with a yoga instructor.

The next sunset  I'm hoping to see therefore will be from the lovely cliff with a cold kingfisher in my hand.

The major part of my challenge is now over -I 'just' need to ride back. Please can I ask that you don't forget my reasons for doing this - any donations will be gratefully received. If you do donate you're entitled to say to me as/when/if I return - "Cheggers I've donated - no need to do the 'when I was in india' bit". I know there are many good causes deserving of help but this money could help another Usha break free from the poverty cycle. She clearly won't forget her roots and will continue to be an inspiration to others. Surely that's worth every penny of a donation especially if as a bonus you'll receive a 'get out of jail free card' that'll mean you don't have to listen to me!
