Well the last couple of days have been fun albeit a tad wet!!!
I've now made it to the seaside having mainly stuck to the highway due to the bad weather.
I set off yesterday in sunshine but dark clouds soon formed just as I was approaching the top of the eastern ghats. I was hoping to also record the mileage on the Impulse following the carb work but alas it wasn't to be. My LCD display on the bike became more L (Liquid) than was required and I lost trip mileage and odometer etc . Still who needs silly info like that? What would've been nice were some indicators and maybe some lights too but at least the bike didn't cut out.
This area appears to be quite unpopulated compared to many other areas but I for one am glad of the quieter roads.
I managed to find a cheap hotel last night and my choice on arrival was a checkover of the bike or buy a couple of beers and watch the Muppets on TV.
Suffice to say......................Ma Na Na Nuh - Do Do DO do Ah. I wasn't a total mechanical failure though as I did park it in such a way as to get the morning sun if any appeared.
I slept well and in the morning had my photo taken for the local paper before firing up the bike and ye ha it all works again. That's my sort of spannering and long may it continue.
I'm now at Vizag and will be in search of some quiet coatal roads from here on in. Sea to my left and if the sun sets to my right I'm heading in the right direction.
I'm making the most of a local internet place as no wifi places here. I'll publish some photos once able to fire up my notepad thingy.
Ok, time to go find food and some crisps (and a beer) - Johny English is showing on TV later. I sure know how to live!
