The National Express (minus the jolly hostess) caused a slight delay (apparently) between leaving Richard's southwest retirement home and arriving at London Heathrow - but despite the initial concerns - he had a good flight and arrived safely. I've yet to receive any goodies he's brought out so won't publish this entry just yet. I did previously suggest on this blog thingy that I might be a tad fickle so no apologies required I guess.
I started working on the roof first thing before heading over to Karol bagh to meet rich at lunchtime. Rich was met at the airport by Tony from inder motors, lalli Singh's place which is in KB.I have known lalli for years now and he is the ONLY guy I will recommend in Delhi for tourists to rent bikes from
Attached to this blog is a photo of Radheshyam the painter at asha who I have known for a number of years. His limited English is far better than my limited hindi but despite this we work well together. I've let him down the last couple of days though as yesterday - shock horror - my bike registration arrived and I rode to okhla in the afternoon to collect it. I also even have the service book so it would appear all is good. The new bars are fitted and I just need to bolt on the brush guards and a few stickers and we're all set. Mr Evans is having a little napette so thought I'd type out a few lines before heading out in search of a 'start him off gently'' curry. I've also attached some photos of ARC motors so that I can remember what it looks like - I won't be going back!
