Today we were early to rise as we headed out for our sunrise cruise - just lovely. On my return I was a tad concerned when I stepped onto my decking and I heard a rustle, slither and a small splash. Apparently the crocodile took one look at me without my makeup and made a run for it!

The afternoon involved a fishing trip. We were trying to catch tiger fish, I only caught reeds. John nearly caught me...more practice required I think.

We then canoed down river...the hippos gave warning when they thought we were too close, the scary bit was that we could not see them. Interesting safety instructions beforehand included how to deal with crocs and hippos - best advice was don't!

Whilst watching the sunset from my decking, Horace was grazing on the nearby bank. Hippos are such huge animals you just don't expect it.
