Well here I am with an update of my last few days in Canada. This past week or so has been fairly relaxed. We took in the water park, Wonderland, (I was quite brave) and a short walk by Port Credit but the breeze didn't really cool us in the 42c heat! Mind you, with the heat we have also had some fairly impressive rain as well. I guess you had the good weather and we had the 'British special' over the weekend.

Saturday night saw a return trip to Niagara to see the Falls lit up at night (fabulous) and enjoy the sights from the Skylon Tower and its revolving restaurant (lovely views .....especially with a chilled Chardonnay in my hand). However, it was a bit windy (note the least flattering photo of me!)

The Blue Jays baseball team were our entertainment for Sunday...or maybe that is pushing the point for some as many say it is a bit like watching cricket. Personally I think that is an insult to baseball as I found it enjoyable. The dome ceiling usually opens up...well when it isn't raining! Sadly our team lost but it was good clean fun and even the opposition supporters survived, despite the fact they were mixed in with us. Can you imagine a Pompey fan in the Saints supporters' stand and surviving? Hmm...carnage I think.

The boys then continued baseball at home (see photos). Despite my lack of sportiness I have really enjoyed watching lacrosse and ice hockey, they are so much fun. Victor and Vincent are very good at both games and it is fantastic to watch their speed and skill. The tackling is fairly impressive/scary as well - hence the extreme padding. Definitely a spectator sport for me.

Tonight I saw Wedding Crashers (highly entertaining film) and tomorrow is my last day. I guess packing is in order ... I am having nightmares already.

Well this is it folks...I will catch up with you in Ecuador. x
