Well what do you know - another brilliant day in sunny Kiama. After breakfast we headed out for the obligatory walk with Greg's nephew, Joel, who had driven up from Canberra.

There was a heavy north east swell running so quite large waves pounding in on the beaches and the blow hole was doing it's thing although nothing like it was when Greg was a kid.

When we got back to Steve's place it was time to start doing a bit of cleaning up including some gardening, so we left the place in good shape. Steve was busy with work so it was good to give him a hand. He had someone coming around on Saturday to look at the house.

Once we got cleaned up we drove down town with Joel to have a late lunch. We found a nice coffee shop in the main street and sat back to enjoy the warm, sunny day.

After lunch we visited Steve at his workshop where Joel made us up a sign for the back of the caravan (refer photo).

In the evening we arranged to catch up to Ken Adcock (one of Greg's old school friends) at the Grand Hotel. When we got there Digger (Geoff Haigh) and Blossom (Guye Mathews) - also old friends, were  there. Greg had seen the former two mates previously during the visit but hadn't seen Guye for a long time so it was great to catch up to the old crowd. A great finish to the Kiama stopover.

We had dinner at the Grand and managed to get home at a reasonable hour so we would be in reasonable shape for the trip north on Saturday.
