Wednesday was a fine day in Kiama. We went for the usual walk down around the Blowhole, Harbour etc. It was really nice to see some sunny weather again. There were plenty of people out in the surf at the main beach.

After doing some domestics in the morning we headed down to Nowra again to do a bit of shopping. We took the coast road down past Shoalhaven Heads. The road runs alongside the Shoalhaven River when the road gets closer to Nowra. The country was lush and green like the rest of the region.

In the evening we walked down to the Grand Hotel with Steve and Dan Balding to attend the Trivia Night. We had dinner at the pub as there was a good meal + trivia deal going. Our team ended up winning although we did have some 'high tech' help.

On Thursday we caught up with a few more friends for lunch at the Grand. They had an $8 lunch special which was pretty good value. We had a nice time although the rain set in during lunch and was absolutely belting down on the roof. The cook brought a bucket out to put under the leak.

After lunch Greg went back to Geoff Marlin's to have a jam on the guitar. They used to play a bit together back in the old days. Geoff has played in a band for quite a few years now. In the evening we got together with the Marlins for Thai takeaway which was really tasty. The rain was on and off most of the afternoon but eased off in the evening.
