Jan talked to a pommie couple on the beach who were doing a 12 month tour around AUS. They bought their camper trailer out from the UK - they figured that this was cheaper than buying one here. Interesting idea!
The guy at the office was another 'Simmo' and he works in a pub in Innisfail in the evenings as well as managing the park along with some co-owners.
We stopped off at Cardwell on the way up today. Heaps of road work on the Cardwell Range - that's a good thing as they are taking the bends out of the road.
Greg threw a line in this arvo but no luck - again!!! He caught a minnow in the throw net but let him go - has to be some good karma in that hey!!
Very mild night tonight outside and no rain!!

Hi Janet, just got exmas card from Hayley, hope you and Greg having a good time.
You should have gone to see Marc and George Alexander at Cowley. They live not far from caravan park..only small place and everyone knows them.
If your coming past Bribie Island there is always a bed for you both here.
