We stopped in Merced to pick up Joe's friend, Phil. Phil is a nice guy. Buena Park was our next destination. I was pretty tired along the way, but I couldn't really fall asleep either. I had Joe drive since I haven't slept all night. Most of the drive was uneventful until we decided to check Pyramid Lake out while driving through the Grapevine.
