Our night passed with pleasure and we departed through the lobby entrance door onto the road to the Transylvanian hills. We have to share the road with other traffic and the speed is not as high as we wish, on the other hands its easier to avoid the many potholes.

We depart from our tour and want to see a subterranic glacier. Wow, the road gets very rural, then very very rural, at the end we split and only one bike made the effort to hop over the foot path towards the hill where this unique place is. (there are only two locations on earth where one can see such a phenomenon)

The security features are not yet EU standard and we climb down into the cavern. The stair is metal and bent so the railing serve to keep the route. Sometimes the railing is not up to the purpose, but nevertheless we arrive at the bottom of a huge hole in the hill.

Down there is a cold trap where the snow in winter is conserved as well in summer and this snow converts into a glacier. This glacier then is slowly flowing through a cave system into the mountain. Really unique and special to see such a thing. Was worthwile to deviate from the normal road!

We continue our journey through the Transylvanian hills / mountains and see a green arena, full of pine trees and agricultural areas. The living standard of the people is around the same as in middle Europe in the 50th.

We are lucky and find our hotel without problems, and even without having the possibility to speak to the people we enjoy a good dinner and a good night
