Full of ideas and again no real plan I headed to Port. I said I wanted to see "The Rock" and yes I still want to see it, but on the other side I've been quite a long time in the outback now and hey you do get sick of all that dust all the time. I was really ready for some sea here it was. Apart from that I some very rare creatures - backpackers. Really helpful ones too and guess what Nationality? Again German. Sometimes I get the feeling that Germans are obsessed with coming to Australia. So after talking to the fifths German person, who was actually really nice and gave me some wicked ideas where to get two new tires, I spoke my first English word again with two Frenchies, who I, can you believe it, met in HAWKER in the library! Of course I met 'em again in the library, free Internet is just a irresistible temptation ;)
I enjoyed the French company and tried so hard to refresh my French. I think I came to the word 'appareil de doe', which means braces but that's about it and my spelling kinda sucks too..
Apart from learning we had some fun on the playground and stopped our times racing through our new parcour.

Travel tip: You should try that too! Race through every playground and set up best times ;)

And now a real travel tip:
It's bullshit that the water in Port Augusta is dirty, it's absolutely refreshing, maybe a bit salty, but that's why they got a free shower near the jetty. We loved it, especially jumping from the bridge. I would have jumped too if I wouldn't constantly lose my bathing suite when I jump in water...

Maybe I'll meet up with Max and Eddy sometime in Perth, they were fun!

I stayed for two days asking around if somebody would join me on the trip to Eyers Rock. I kinda knew I wouldn't find anybody in Port but you never know. Well I didn't and I didn't really feel like going all the way down to Adelaide in order to find somebody. And then I got talking to Bengy. Yep that Bengy that once was so irresistible and I have no idea what has changed since then but I'd die of misery if I won't find out.

That's it I'm going to W.A.
