I am now here until 19th March when I fly to Bario. I shall use this time to recharge my batteries for another jungle adventure. My guesthouse was fantastic - the owner Mrs Lee could not do enough for me - a very kind lady.

They do not celebrate St. Patrick's Day here - what a shame!! However, I did go out and some of the bars had Guinness and Shamrock signs and played Irish music - U2!! I had dinner with a very nice couple from Canada who had been hiking on Mount Kinabalu and Lambir Hills (near Miri) - I would have like to have been to these places but too much to see and not enough time - will have to go back again!!

Have not taken any photos in Miri - did not get around to it!
