Ok so its pretty hard to think back to what i've been up to as I have been on the move for about a month now.  Left Melbourne around the middle of april for sydney with the two english laura and sarah and us two scottish erin and I in a massive campervan.  Total banter, lots of randomness and got to see some cool countryside and sights.  Got to Sydney, had a night out in skanky kings cross and the next day hit the famous bondi beach!!  A night out at the Chinese Laundry then off we went.  No bridge or opera house!!  Short and sweet visit to Sydney but I will be headed back there in July.  So erin and I scaged a lift off Thomas our random frenchie for some 4x4 action from Sydney to Brisbane to meet back up with Pamela.  Very cool trip, got to see dingoes, kangaroos, flying fox and a bunch of other cool stuff.  The draw backs or perhaps things il always remember was the time erin and i had to get out and push the 4x4 out of sand!!!  and camping in full blown sunami!!! well slight exaggeration but not too much.  Got to Brisbane and Pamela got back New Zealand then started work near enough straight away in the worst job ever the call centre . . . what a melt however funds are seriously low so not much choice.  Plan was to work for two weeks and head down the gold coast however couldn't even stick 2 weeks ha!  So after one weeks work and a few days of homely luxury with family friends laurie and steve in Caboolture just outside of Brisbane we hired a car, bought a tent and headed off South.  Had a big night out in Surfers Paradise . . . so weird to go back to a tent after a night out ha!!  Surfers is cool for a night out but its a bit tacky and more like a holiday resort than anything else.  Had a days sunbathing in Burleigh heads then headed to Nimbin!!   Awesome place (australia's little amsterdam!!)  Then headed to Byron Bay, next day got on the whole surfing buzz . . . awesome.  Loved Byron, would have loved to have stayed longer but couldn't due to money . . . so chilled out and cool though.  After a night in Noosa we got to Bundaberg which has been my home for the last week . . . So yeh Bundaberg!!  Its an old town where backpackers end up when they have no money and are trying to get work on farms.  At first I was like oh my this place is going to be so rediculously boring . . . however the hostel is pretty cool and we have met some really good people so since we have not been able to get work yet we have been doing a fair bit of partying (nothing else to do!!).  Fingers crossed we will be working tomorrow or we may be back in the tent . . .
