This morning's visit was a bit different from the others. This morning we went to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The organization was developed in 1961 in hopes to bring various governments together to build a better world economy. Here we were given a lecture on the organization and on the current economic trends. After that we had a Q&A session as well as a tour around the facilities.
The afternoon was totally dedicated to Printemps (French Department Store). Here we had a lecture on company history as well as current business direction. We also had a trend presentation and visual merchandising lecture. Last on the agenda was a guided tour through the various departments.
Later that evening we headed off to Musee D’Orsay. There we were given a tour by our art history professor, Silvia. It was interesting to hear what she had to say since her love is in Renaissance.
A great meal (Beef Tartare) with a few friends ended my night.
