heya so LA sucks. We traveled down to LA on wednessday day and got here around 5 pm. We then got a taxi to our hostel and it is in the middle of nowwhere, its so far from hollywood its crazy. We were thinking about finding somewhere ele to stay but you can get a free shuttle to the airport and to the transit centre so we desided to stay. Helen and stacey met us on thursday moring and all of us headed into hollywood. iyt was abit of a mission to get there but we made it in the end. The two girls did a hollywood tour and us ofther 4 desiced to walk around to save money. We walked the walk of fame and to the chinease threater, i was really dissapointed, i though it was going to be alot bigger and better than what it really was. Everything is just so far away in LA you really need to have a car and we dont! Thursday day was rubbish and all of us felt quite down, in the evening me and tabs went to a gig with our trek leader chris and 3 other leaders to see a band on sunset blvd. It was really good fun, and deffently made the day better. The next day me tabs sammy and claudia headed to vencie beach to check it out. It was nice but me and tabs got board sitting on the beach so after walking around for a bit headed back to the hostel. (which by the way is a dump!) Friday we just chilled out at the hostel and are counting down the days till we can leave to go to fiji but weve just looked at the weather report and its meant to rain the whole time were there! anyway speak to you all soon xx
