Once I could check off Turtle, Shark and Manta Rays from my checklist, I said to Lauren that the list would be complete if I saw an Octopus. Well sure enough on our first dive this morning we did just that. It was cool to see him slivering along the coral. Of course now I want to swim with the dolphins but Jeremy said I need to settle for the 10 or more we've seen popping up along the boat throughout the trip. Today’s dives were all about exploring new sights to appease Jeremy’s satisfaction. The first was at a place called Banta Slope. The dive was quite nice filled with Mantas Shrimp. I just wish I had my own wetsuit and equipment. Aside from the fact that the mask doesn’t fit me properly and I sound like a combination of Darth Vader and Chewbacca with the regulator that I have been given but worse of all, I had to go back to using the provided full wetsuit. It wasn’t until the next day that we realized the welt was caused by the BCD so we resolved that issue by stuffing my spare bikini into the hole.

The break between dives was a windy, rocky one and almost not worth suiting up for. The backdrop for this dive was just flat black sand with a few rocks for some Tiny Shrimp and Lionfish to hang out around but otherwise it was an ugly dive. It was good for really taking our time to investigate each seldom rock in search of Nudi Branch which we saw one on the ground crawling along.
