Now this was an exhausting night!  After traveling for like 30 hours, we then had to spend another 8 just hanging around waiting for our connecting flight to Kolkata!  No wonder our tickets were so cheap!

Mar's ticket was so messed up.  Once again they had her on a totally different flight from the rest of us, and it took us like 3 hours of being directed from one end of the airport to the other trying to find the "right person" who could sort it all out.

After the second time of being directed to a place opposite of where we were, we managed to snag Mar her own personal chauffeur!  This guy was great, he patiently hung with us for almost 2 hours and helped us translate, etc.

The video clips show our first glimpse at the differences between our cultures.  The folks sleeping on the ground are not homeless - they are travelers, businessmen, etc. resting in-between flights.  It was interesting to see how they can just crash like that - something you don't see back home.

At one point while Heather was alone guarding all of the luggage, an airport security guard with a security dog walked past...then backtracked specifically to our luggage!  That dog sniffed and sniffed and sniffed our luggage!  I was racking my brain trying to think of what we might have in those bags that he was so interested in, [and prayed to God that there were no illegal substances, lol!].  He finally lost interest and wandered on, but for a minute there I was getting worried I would have to open up each piece of luggage one by one for a personal inspection.

PS - There were NO illegal substances by the way, lol!
