We spent most of the day at San Diego Zoo. It was really busy but a very good zoo. We went on the bus tour as it was included with our ticket, and it was really informative. The zoo is a lot like Singapore Zoo where they try not to use cages/bars to enclose the animals, but natural habitat instead.

We mainly went to see the Giant Pandas as we hadn't seen them in any of the zoos we had been to, but we also saw quite a variety of other animals.

In the evening we drove over from San Diego to Coromando to have a look around but the restaurant we were going to eat at was closed. It was only 8pm as well. They like to eat dinner early in America.

Then it was back home to pack up the rucksacks again in preparation for our tour round the US.
