Our plan today was to have a couple of walks and have a leisurely scenic drive along Queen Charlotte Drive to get some great views of Marlborough Sounds. However, the weather had other ideas. It rained all day so we drove around Picton town centre, then drove to Blenheim before coming back to Picton again to have a late lunch.

It was the most pointless day we have had in our travels but at least we saved some money. We also watched the ferry coming into Picton at dusk.
