Today was meant to be a trip to Cleland Wildlife park to cuddle a koala, but the weather had other plans, so we caught a bus to Tea Tree Plaza. Tea Tree Plaza is just a normal shopping mall, but the way the bus gets there is unusual. The bus travels on a busway - very similar to tram tracks or a monorail, but obviously for a bus. It has stations just like the tram as well. It's a must to go on this if you've never seen one before.

After that, we had a walk by the River Torrens. There are 3 rivers that surround Adelaide, but the Torrens river is the one that runs through the city. There are a lot of parks and green spaces in Adelaide, making it a very pretty city to walk round. Along the river, there are cycle paths and always seems to be at least 2 people jogging. Australia is big on its sport. Rowing is another popular pastime with many rowing clubs, especially from the universities, of which there are 3 at the moment, with a 4th to be built soon.

The main square in the city centre is Victoria Square. This is where to catch the tram from to go to Glenelg. It is also where there is a big fountain/sculpture that was created to commemorate the Queen's visit in the 1960s. There are plenty of benches or grass to sit on and watch the world go by.
