Yesterday was Bonfire night, or as they call it here, Guy Fawkes night. There was a public fireworks display at Wellington Harbour that started at 9pm. It was free viewing so a couple of us from work went down to Mac's Brewery to meet for a couple of drinks beforehand. There was six of us in total. I work with Pete and David (Bridgy) and they brought their partners Claire and Linda. The fireworks were pretty good, but we didn't manage to get any really good photos.

On the immigration front, we have sent our police check forms back to the UK but they will take up to 40 days to process. Once we have those, everything else we already have here so it should be fairly straightforward after that.
