In all the years I have been away from Manchester and have come back to visit family and friends, my trips back home have never been in the fall.  Though the foliage colors had already peaked 10-days earlier, I still found the color beautiful.  The most beautiful colors I found was out an old cemetary down the road from my cousin's.  I found the afternoon sun remarkable at the cemetary the afternoon before I left to fly home and spent some time photographing the area.

We went to Hampton Beach for an over night, and so that I could photograph the sunrise over the ocean.  This is an event I have wanted to photograph for years... I get to check this off my bucket list.  The sunrise was magnificent and truely spiritual.

It was great to reconnecg with my family back home, to hear the stories of years ago, and to see the old pictures of my parents, grandparents and great grandparents.  I felt truely home again.
