We were up at 4am to get to the dock where the boat was leaving from in Lahina town at 5:45 am.  We set sail on a beautiful Catamaran named the Trilogy.  Once there we went on a short tour of this very small island, and then we were dropped at a private beach for some snorkling before lunch.  The clarity of the water was pretty good, the fish and marine life were sparse...  didn't see much activity.  The reef was pretty that was below us.

After snorkling we walked up to the BBQ area for a chicken lunch.  It was very good and relaxing and then once more boarded the sail boat to head back to Lahina Town on Maui.  While sailing back we encountered a huge pod of whales.  Large adults, and young whales too!

It was a great day and lots of fun.
