On my last bit of time in Santa Teresa I  was homesick, missing everyone and the craic... I was invited to celebrate "Thanks Giving Day" by 3 great gals from Boston, which cheered me up BIG time. We were joined by  Andy from Hertfordshire (living in Boston) 2 Qubec Canadians, Fred from Belguim and Pam England a girl from Burnley, in Manchester. We had a great evening over looking the Pacific sunset, gave thanks, ate fresh fish and drank lots an lots of rum.
Pam is a really interesting girl and turns out she is heading to Samara too, so we are going to head up there together on the shuttle bus as apposed to the local bus trip of 8 hrs!!! Pam has been travelling since she was 17!!!!! and has lived on every contintent! Ran a bar in Koh Tao, has a HGV liscense drove a  combine harvester for the seaon in Perth, had elephants in her garden in Africia, done 38 bungy jumps, worked as a tour guide in most places and much much more......

We arrived in Samara after a hassle free 5 hr shuttle journey ad found Casa Brian the hostel that was reccommended to us owned by Brian from Cananda...funny enough! It was 3 km out of the town and when we arrived we dunped our stuff and went out on the beach to have a look around. It get s dark here around 5.30 so when heading back it was pitch black and we had no idea where along the beach Cas Brian was. (not idea location for 2 girls having to walk back along the beach in the dark) We called Brian from a cafe and ordered a cab. One night at Casa Brians was enough! found out later he was continually on Misqulin in his tea!!! Crazy! So left Monday  am sharp went walk about  and found a cool Hostel called Las Maripoas and enrolled in  the Samara Language School for some Espanol....... tbc.........
