Yesterday we arrived near aviv's sleeping hour we had no chance to look around but we still managed to eat in the wonderful restaurant of the hotel. The second word after chao was Bella bambina!! Aviv catches everyone's attention it was the first time for us that in a place like restaurant everybody are looking at us....sorry they looked on aviv!!

We tried the tasting menu which included lake local fish pate, noodles with fish souce, fried fish with vegetables and for desert pineapple carpacchio. Everything was great but after one or two courses aviv became cranky and we had to leave....trying to enjoy your meal with a little baby is hard and in a restaurant when everybody are dressed nice and sitting and eating quietly, to take of the shirt for breast feeding and trying to eat in that position....well Im trying but I really don't like it!

Back in our room which is very wide one but under the roof, not good for high people like yoed and even me that I'm pretty short got a bump in my head while getting to aviv's crib. The view was stunning, dark blue water, green huge mountains above and in between little picturesque buildings. The room is designed like a place to relax in. The colors was white, grey and very very pale green, it felt like we don't want to go out never.
We gave up on the idea of doing the loop of the lake, instead we planned to walk through town and if we will have time to take ferry to the other town menaggio and varena.

Breakfast was great, we met another Israeli couple that appear to be our neighbors in the hotel, and after that a nice Australian couple, they were Jewish and spoke a little bit of Hebrew and of course looked at aviv...we can understand them. Question: why does everybody immidietly ask how old is she? Who cares about that?
The man was very kind and his wife just say how hard it is to live in Israel and a few minutes later the waiter catched her taking buns outside of the restaurant.... And they say israelis have hutzpa!!!!

Starting the day with the gardens of villa melzzi just down the road...what an amazing gardens...I had to ask who is the gardener...he is doing great job!!
After short walk through the gardens we reached the town...what a vacation atmosphere, caffes are full and people just wondering around happy, yes, it's really hard to live in Israel.
After a caffe break we saw a Huge row of cool cars, some from France, some from Switzerland...and again, we live in a strange place...the border is a real border you cannot cross it, in Europe you just take the car....this is a totally different concept.
After walking a bit we understood we have to eat other wise we won't eat...so we took a table at "la grotta" what a great food, I have to say that Im starting to understand the difference between the south and the north...we are far from the Mediterranean and close to the center of Europe now there is potatoes on almost everything, but it's comfort food and we liked it!!!
We kept walking and wandering around, bellagio is a beautiful place to be...but we are leaving tomorrow lets pray for good weather... Today was a nice relaxing day but tomorrow we have a long drive ahead of us and it's going to rain...

We are starting tomorrow our adventurous part of our vacation, heading Into the dolomite area! First stop tomorrow will be in Tenno, on the northern tip of lake Garda, stay tuned!

Conclusions for the day:
Smuggling buns outside of your hotel for lunch is apparently a universal concept
Tea is more expensive than coffee over here
Squirrels aren't afraid from aviv
