Greg told me how to title this entry!  They were only able to average 3.4 mph from Decatur to Guntersville Lock.  And that was with no engine trouble!  They departed Decatur this morning at 5:55am and passed thru the Guntersville lock around 7:15pm tonight.  It was cold and raining the entire day and the currents were very strong against them.  They did manage to sail with the jib (also in the rain) for a bit but then the winds died down.

The good news is that it is supposed to be sunny tomorrow and also Wednesday.  I KNOW the guys will be happy to see that.  Jessica said that some schools in the Monteagle area had to close today because of flooding.  She said it has rained almost constantly since December and frankly, she's about ready to see some spring.

The cell service was poor during most of the day today, so Greg had to wait until late tonight to send all his great footage and photos.  It has been so nice to feel like I've been on this trip but experience it from the comfort of my own warm, dry, home!  I'll just post everything below.  Greg does an excellent job explaining the videos.  If things go as expected, they may hit Nickajack Lake on Wednesday.  And what doesn't kill them, will make them stronger.  :)

I was here, and BOY it rained like 6 inches since Saturday, so I know you guys are soaked. I was worried about you all.
