So after the rains passed and we headed back to the hills to escape the heat of the lowlands, we decided to chase curves up and down the Appalachins. We started by riding NC126 (again) and then visiting a fish hatchery. After that we enjoyed NC181, NC226, and NC197 as we rolled generally West.
By the end of the day we should have stopped in Hot Springs but instead headed to Asheville NC. It turns out that the last weekend in July is a festival every year but since it was raining, we passed.
