This course of over 2km of ziplines, platforms and skybridges within a primeval rainforest is located in the village of Mae Kompong (about 55mins drive from central Chiang Mai, and 8-9 degrees celcius cooler) and is said to be currently the longest and highest in Northern Thailand.
Following our zipline adventure, we ate traditional North Thailand cuisine for lunch, were entertained with traditional Thai musical instruments, and trekked alongside Kompong Falls, before returning back to central Chiang Mai.
According to the organisers and at the time of writing, 10% of their profits of this attraction go to conservation projects :)
