Last week before school starts and what does everyone do? Party! I think I've been to more birthday and summer parties this last week than I've been to in the last two years! I've been going with Sean and Nicole and then meeting up with some of their friends. It's been fun, but I'm definitely feeling exhausted not used to staying up so late! We went into town on Wednesday and went to a couple of dance clubs. Dancing was a blast and we even went to a Burger King at the end of the night. I've also gone to another 21st birthday (another big deal) and another party in one night. New Zealanders sure love their parties. I think everyone's trying to have one last blow-out before school starts up again, so once school starts it'll be study, school, and home for me! I had a nice, quiet, relaxing day today to catch up a little bit. The rest of the weekend should be very chill and then it'll be time for school! I'm excited to start school and see how the lectures differ from UWGB.
On a side note, I bought some of the best chocolate I've ever had. New Zealand is home to the Cadbury chocolate company (known in the US for their chocolate eggs at Easter). So I just had to buy a chocolate bar...or two...since it's coming right from this country! I might have to go to Dunedin where the main factory is and take a tour.
Lastly, I'd like to wish my brother-in-law a very happy birthday! It's only the 1st in Wisconsin, but it's the 2nd here, so I'm going to count it. So happy birthday Thomas!
